Flying a proper Ensign! In a time where canal craft fly anything from the scull and crossbones to the union flag, to england flags, to APCO burgees from the flagstaff it was a joy to meet Thursdays Child with a large red ensign fluttering in the breeze. Time was when Thames lock keepers made offending craft remove any unsuitable ensigns.
